Greetings everyone on behalf of the women in the Diocese of Saskatoon. It was such a privilege for me to attend the 2009 President's Conference in Newfoundland this October. Preparing a report for our Diocesan ACW Board meeting, Nov. 24th, gave me a chance to relive the memories.

Delorie, you are doing a wonderful job on the website. I loved the pictures! I have some to send you too.

Hi Delorie, what a great job you've done with this... Congratulations! Those of us in the Diocese of Western Newfoundland who were part of the Planning Committee will always have many wonderful memories of this year's conference. It was our genuine pleasure to have hosted it and you were all such good sports about the little glitches we experienced, especially the rainy weather on our Saturday Outing...

Hi Delorie,
Thanks for phoning this morning and posting the dates and location of the National COnference in Sept. I will email you the theme following the Diocese of BC Exec meeting on March 4th.
We hosted a Tri Region (Greater Victoria parishes)gathering on Feb. 27 & it went well. I will send you and email of notes from the day & you can decide if you wish to use any of it.

It has been awhile since I logged onto the ACW website. Wow! I am impressed!

The only question I would like to ask is, do we need the letters ACW in the heading? Is not "ACW Anglican Church Women" saying 'it' twice? I'm afraid I'm much like Marion Saunders in detesting some of the connotations that the ACW letters often bring forward.

Just my thoughts!
